Beside a busy street in the middle of a small Oregon Coastal town I recently spied this beautiful hydrangea. I wonder how many people pass by and never notice it there. There is beauty all around us – bits of color where we least expect it.
You can read about the maiden voyage of my little vintage trailer by clicking the tab marked ‘Daffodil – My Vintage Trailer’ at the top of this page. I’ll be back soon to share a tour and close-ups of some of the trailers gathered at our recent camp-out.

Falling Behind and Catching Up Again
Oh, dear me! It’s Fall and I need to get busy and catch up with myself, my Autumn decorating and with you, with my dear friends. I really didn’t mean to drop out of sight. Honestly, I didn’t. It’s been nearly a month since I last posted anything here. I told you I was about to take my sweet, little vintage trailer on her maiden voyage – a journey that would be my first time to tow a trailer far from home by myself. She and I made that trip and we had such fun. I’m editing photos to share soon. We had a great time away together and I learned a lot of things I never dreamed I would need to know. See, there she is – surrounded by dear friends for a few days of fun together.
Life took off at a fast pace after we got home from our camping trip. There were days away from home for business, for fun and for time with treasured friends. Days to deal with home life and days to catch up with myself in the middle of a hectic schedule. Then a sweet friend from college days came to visit. My guest room was made ready for her arrival.
Not long after she arrived we headed to the Oregon Coast for time away together.
Our visit was sweet, but short. Then it was over and we both returned to every day life at home. It’s been a busy few days since then. There have been places to go and people to see and work to be done. But I’m back - back with things to tell you and photos to share. Yes, I’ve fallen behind – but I’m working hard to catch up! Like the story of the little train that said, ‘I think I can, I know I can, I knew I could’, I’ll make it. Yes, I will. I know I will!
