About Me

I am so glad you stopped by to visit.  Please come in – the door is always open!

I’m a gal who is grateful for simple things – the love of my sweetheart of forty-six years, our son and daughter-in-law, our daughter and our eight wonderful grandkids.  And I can’t forget my Long-Haired Miniature Dachshund, Joey – he’s the one who will greet you at the door every time you stop by.  Most of all, I am grateful for the love of God that has filled my life with blessings beyond imagination.

We retired a few years ago and we’re trying to figure out what we want to be when we grow up!  Some days you will find me puttering around our sixties-vintage ranch-style home.  We’ve been busy updating and making changes around here so you never know what we will be doing when you stop by.  I may be rearranging the furniture, painting or restoring a new treasured ‘find’, working in the yard or garden, or I may be relaxing with a good book.  You may find that we’re not at home – we love to travel and we just might be out and about.  I love photography and I always take my camera along when we leave home.  When I return I love to share our adventures here.

I have a little vintage trailer named Daffodil.  We have almost finished restoring her and I love to take her on the road for fun with girlfriends.  I’m a member of Sisters On The Fly, an international outdoor adventure club for women, and Vintage Women With Trailers, a Pacific Northwest group of gals who get together often.  We have more fun than anyone.  You can see what is happening with Daffodil on her blog, Daffodil’s Journey (click on the 'Daffodil - My Vintage Trailer' tab at the top of my home page - it will take you there).

I started blogging in two thousand seven.  The world of blog has brought some very dear friends into my life.  I treasure the friendships made I’ve made here.  I hope you will come back soon – there’s so much to share!

Gratefully,
~ Adrienne ~
