I don't know about tomorrow
I just live from day to day
I don't borrow from it's sunshine
For its skies may turn to grey
I don't worry o'er the future
For I know what Jesus said
And today I'll walk beside Him
For He knows what lies ahead
I don't know about tomorrow
It may bring me poverty
But the one who feeds the sparrow
Is the one who stands by me
And the path that be my portion
May be through the flame or flood
But His presence goes before me
And I'm covered with His blood
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.
Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic . . . for the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you. Deuteronomy 31:6 (NLT)

This is one of my favorite songs. I’ve sung it many times as a special at church over the years. Thankful for the promise that I know Who holds me in the palm of His hand.
ReplyDeletePraying for us all dear lady. I may not know what tomorrow holds but I surely know the ONE that does! Trusting Him. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful song, I've always loved it, and have sung it in my heart recently. It gives me great hope to know that we do not have to understand all things, but we can trust Him!
