I like fog—it's a mystery
You never know what you might see.
What might appear quite suddenly
From out of the mist.
You never know just what's in store:
A dragon or a dinosaur;
A giant or a mighty king.
It might be almost anything
From out of the mist.
Fog by Mabel Chandler Duch

What beautiful pictures! I love the colorful leaves. It looks like autumn is abit ahead of us over there on the west-side. We have golden leaves in the mountains, but they are only turning abit yellowish on the east-side yet. It always makes me wish to rush the seasons --- when I see what's going on in your part of the world. You get SPRING way before us -- it always warrants a journey over the mountains so I can be refreshed and inspired!

Beautiful! Great minds do think alike. Fog is one of my favorite things. Have you ever read the children's book "Fog Magic"? I had it as a kid and actually picked up a copy at a garage sale this past summer. A really fun read about a little girl who loves to walk in the fog. She finds a village that is only there on foggy days.
ReplyDeleteWe had a gorgeous sunrise this morning. I posted pictures.
Hugs,
Paula

ReplyDeleteYour photos are great.
Your pictures are just beautiful!! I'm not particularly fond of the fog--it's lovely to look at, but don't like people driving in it.
