Instruction For Difficult Times

Don’t worry about anything;
instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need,
and thank him for all he has done.
Then you will experience God’s peace,
which exceeds anything we can understand.
His peace will guard your hearts and minds
as you live in Christ Jesus.
And now, dear brothers and sisters,
one final thing.
Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable,
and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable.
Think about things that are excellent
and worthy of praise. . .
Then the God of peace will be with you.

Phillipians 4:6-9
(New Living Translation)

  1. I finally had time to stop by to see what you've been up to. Oh my! A new tea cup and vintage lace, a hot tub, a trip to a sewing expo, your son o a mission trip and last but certainly not least . . . flute music playing while I'm reading and looking (a special thing to me since my son is a flutist). What more could a girl ask for than to take time to share some of her favorite things with a friend?!

Blesings and hugs from the creek!

  2. Good morning,
Thank you for a beautiful poem...
I hope things in your life are going smoothly. I think of your daughter and her children so often and pray they are learning to cope.
    God loves them so much.

  3. Adrienne, this is so true. And, it is such a comfort to know that we can talk to God about anything and everything.

It is so nice to stop by for a visit. I've been so busy that I've been lacking.

    Take care, dear one.
