It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas. . .

‘.Pittock Mansion - Library Ceiling’. . .everywhere you go.’

Everywhere, that is, except at my house!  We’re working on it but it’s not ready to show you yet.  Our decorations will be very simple this year so it won’t be long before I can share them with you.  We had a nice Thanksgiving at our son’s home less than an hour south of ours and we’ve helped my dear, little mother do her Christmas shopping and decorate her house.  We’ve enjoyed a grandson’s first-of-the-season basketball game out of town and it seems like we’ve been here, there and almost everywhere!

The gorgeous ceiling in the photo above is from a historic mansion my sweetheart and I toured yesterday.  It was fabulous – decorated for the holidays, upstairs, downstairs and in the basement!  I took a lot of photos to share with you.  I’ll tell you all about it soon but I need to get back to making my home begin to look like Christmas.

With a grateful heart,
      ~ Adrienne ~

  2. I can't wait to see pictures. I thought of you yesterday when I drove by a mansion and they were advertising they are having their Christmas open house.

  3. I'm catching up on your last few posts. I have been busy and haven't been around to visit lately. I'm continuing to pray for the situation with your mother. I just got my decorations up this weekend, so don't feel badly! I'm off to read about Daffodil. :)

  4. I am looking forward to the decorated mansion photos, and I am STILL dragging my feet on decorating. I don't know what is wrong with me this year, but my goal is to get some things up this week.

So good to hear from you! Thanks for the sweet comment.

Don't work too hard on your project. We've done some purging, every time I throw something out, I need it within a few months! LOL!

    Merry Christmas!

  12. Hi Adrienne
Just stopping by to say hello. I hope you find a "Christmas cup of tea" cup and saucer. I found the cup and saucer and teapot at an estate sale here. Then someone told me I had to get the book, which I found the next week. I loved the book too.
