Sunset

Beyond the sunset, O blissful morning.
When with our Saviour heaven's begun.
Earth's toiling ended, O glorious dawning.
Beyond the sunset when day is done.
~~~~~~~~~~
Beyond the sunset, no clouds will gather.
No storms will threaten, no fears annoy.
O day of gladness, O day unending.
Beyond the sunset eternal joy.
~~~~~~~~~~
Beyond the sunset, a hand will guide me,
To God the Father whom I adore.
His glorious presence, His words of welcome,
Will be my portion on that fair shore.
~~~~~~~~~~
Beyond the sunset, O glad reunion,
With our dear loved ones who've gone before,
In that fair homeland we'll know no parting.
Beyond the sunset forever more.
Song: "Beyond The Sunset"
  1. I just stopped by your blog and have enjoyed catching up on some of your older posts! What pretty pictures and interesting posts! I love the promise of this poem, as I have so many loved ones to be reunited with!! And, just as an aside, I collect china cups and saucers...and the one you have with the yellow roses...I HAVE THAT ONE, TOO!!! Isn't it just so pretty? I love it! Thanks for sharing...I do love your blog!
    As for Keller we are believing for a good report. As praise and worship leaders we used to sing a song..Who's report will you believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord.
    That is where we stand!=)
  17. Aloha..
    Oh I just love this song, I used to sit on the front porch of our country home and listen to my mom sing this song, it was so soothing to the soul. I'm glad I was led here today to read these words again. I just did a post with a beautiful Hawaiian sunset. I thank the Lord for his awesome creations.
    God Bless Lorie
