Ode To Spring Cleaning

March bustles in on windy feet
And sweeps my doorstep and my street.
She washes and cleans with pounding rains,
Scrubbing the earth of winter stains.
She shakes the grime from carpet green
Till naught but fresh new blades are seen.
Then, house in order, all neat as a pin,
She ushers gentle springtime in.

In the spirit of the season our home is closed today for Spring Cleaning! Most of the rooms are empty. Carpet cleaners will arrive later today. It's a perfect time to clear the clutter, displace the dust, clean the corners and fine-tune the furnishings. There's no way to avoid it! And I'll be glad I did!

  5. HAPPY CLEANING, DEAR FRIEND....
I have been doing this all week...closets, dining room, living room...now I need to do OTHER closets, my laundry closet, and, "fear striking my heart here", the grout in my bathrooms and kitchen. I HATE CLEANING GROUT....I HATE G.R.O.U.T., PERIOD!

  11. I need to "close for cleaning!" I did work on my closet a little over the weekend, moved my "winter clothes" to the guest room closet!
